** INSPIRATION

One thing I have done since Freshman year is keep an inspirational quote in my planner each week. I am not sure exactly why, but there is something about reading something small yet wise that motivates me more. It's silly to think that something so small could make a difference, but in times that I feel down or like I won't be able to do my best, reading a quote really helps. So, because finals week is coming up, I figured I would share some of my favorite quotes to refer back to in times of stress and self doubt and help your motivation kick in.

- “It always seems impossible until it’s done.” – Nelson Mandela
- “The most effective way to do it, is to do it.” – Amelia Earhart
- “You will never win if you never begin.” – Helen Rowland
- “Be gentle to all and stern with yourself.” – Saint Theresa of Avila
- “The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.” – Thomas Paine
- “I am not afraid…I was born to do this.” – Joan of Arc
- “Do not wait to strike till the iron is hot; but make it hot by striking.” – William Butler Yeats
- “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” – Confucius
- "The sun will rise and we will try again" – Twenty One Pilots
- “Who seeks shall find.” – Sophocles
- “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” – Mark Twain
These are just some of my favorite that I have written out time and time again, putting them in my planner, around my room, or even giving them to a friend. The best thing, to me at least, about inspirational quotes is that it shows you that people have been in the same shoes as you before. It might be hard now, but you are not alone, and here are big, important names telling you that. Before ever doubting yourself, read one of these and I promise it will make things better.
all my best wishes and vibes,
Zoe
